It's happening at last! What used to be a something I did on cozy evenings with friends is now a rad public event happening Thursday June 25th at Wild Hand Workspace here in DC.
EVERYONE IS INVITED!!!!
DIY Dada started when I discovered some incredible vintage magazines at a dynamite shop called Miss Pixie's a few years ago. Inspired by the wild collages of the Dada movement during the early 20th century and the fun of making things with friends DIY Dada was born. I mean cutting out shapes and pictures we find in magazines is something that's been pretty darn chill since kindergarten. The best part is now we can enjoy a large glass wine while we glue all those magazine cut outs onto paper, creating pictures that we wouldn't want our kindergarten selves to see.
The evening begins at 6:30pm and lasts until 9:00pm. Just make sure you buy your tix online here (Shhhhh....there are only 15 spots available so be quick).
Ok can't wait to see you and make some stuff! Check out the stop motion we made HERE. xx Kate
